St Cuthbert’s Way Pilgrimage
PILGRIMS! You are invited to join an upcoming WhatsApp Virtual Pilgrimage, along St Cuthbert’s Way! This is the 62‑mile trail between Melrose in the Scottish Borders and Lindisfarne off the coast of Northumberland in England.
It’s an opportunity to reflect on the earliest days of Christianity in the British Isles, and how it may be speaking into your own life today.
Coming down out of Scotland, and into Northumberland, the way can be very rugged at times, but also beautiful and inspiring.
Eventually you get to the East Coast, and you can take the footpath across the sands, to Lindisfarne itself.
A very special place which rich historical and spiritual connections, a spirituality continues to grow in our own times as well.
SO! Why not join in and be part of this continuing story, adding in your footprints to those who went before you?
How that might develop for you, as an individual, is something that you will find out on the journey. However, as part of it, you might like to reflect on the following Scripture:
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
v4 from Matthew 18.1-5
